Monsoon rains predicted in state

 SHILLONG: A day after seasonal rains has hit the southern coast in Kerala, the Regional Meteorological Center (RMC), Guwahati has informed the arrival of monsoon in the region on Wednesday.

The RMC weatherman said that monsoon rain is advancing rapidly into the region as some states are already affected and predicted rainfall in other parts in the coming days.

He said that in the next 48 hours monsoon rain will occur in most places of Meghalaya, Assam, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim and isolated placed in eastern India.
