TURA: The All Meghalaya SSB WATS and ITVs Union, Bolbokgre, Jengjal, West Garo Hills recently expressed their concern over the various grievances of the Womens’ Advance Training School (WATS), volunteers and the Intensive Trained Volunteer (ITV) as recruited and trained by the SSB Department (Sashastra Seema Bal) under the Union Ministry of home affairs.
The Union informed that absorption of services of the said cadres into permanent posts of Central Service as assured at the time of recruitment by the SSB department was never ever fulfilled till date. The Union is presently contemplating to present the Charter of Demands of the cadres to the Union Government of India.
