SHILLONG: One person died on the spot after the truck he was driving fell into a deep gorge at Umstew on Sunday. The incident took place when the truck AS 01BC 0888 proceeding from Shillong to Sohra. The deceased driver has been identified as Bramwel Marngar, a resident of Mawkhu, West Khasi Hills.
