Unique ‘Customer card’ to give respite from price hike

 TURA: The North Eastern Economical Development Society (NEEDS), an NGO, on Saturday held a press Conference cum awareness programme at the conference hall of Hotel Rikman near here on their uniquely designed ‘lifetime membership card’ aimed at providing members a breather from price hike of essential commodities. NEEDS is an NGO based in Gauhati, Assam and is engaged in working for the economical development of the northeastern region.

Founder of the NEEDS ‘customer card’ Amardeep Paul informed the gathering that the uniquely designed card popularly known as ‘Customer Card’ aimed at solving the biggest problem in society, price hike. He state that the card enabled members to purchase essential commodities like grocery, medicines and pay hospital and restaurant bills at a huge discount rate.

This facility will be available only in partnered outlets stated Paul and said that there more than 5000 outlets all over the northeast region. He informed that the card was launched at Gauhati on August 21 last year and that within a short span of fifteen months the organization has more than 50, 000 loyal members enjoying the benefits of the ‘customer card’.

NEEDS is the largest customer loyalty programme in the northeastern region engaged in social work distributing free materials informed Paul and said that anyone can become a member of ‘customer card’ by paying a lifetime membership donation of Rs 99. The promoters of NEEDS are training based, well educated and dedicated to loyal service towards the society he stated.
