SHILLONG: A day after the members of the South Congress, Rambrai-Jyrngam Constituency shifted their allegiance to the HSPDP, the ticket aspirant KP Pangniang, Anthony Sangma, and youth leader from Malangkona on Friday, denied making any political statement in regards to his pledge to support any candidatures in the up-coming Meghalaya Legislative Assembly Polls under the Rambrai-Jyrngam Constituency.

“I would like to clarify my stand on the nature of the contents of the news published was totally false, baseless and malicious, as there is no truth in it.”

“I have not allied myself with any parties as I have resigned from the membership of the Congress Party long time back and therefore, question of giving political statement or pledging my support to any aspirant candidates is nothing but absurd”, he said.
