Several injured in accidents across State

In a hit and run case, Pyrkhatlang Kharsati (15) sustained injuries after he was hit by a car near the Block Development Office at Mawryngkneng on Tuesday at 7:55 A.M.

The driver of a TATA NANO, Banraplang Kharmudai (23) sustained injuries after the vehicle was hit by a truck coming from the opposite direction at Mawkriah under Mawphlang Block, East Khasi Hills.

A truck travelling to Guwahati overturned at Thangshalai under Mawryngkneng Block, East Khasi Hills when the driver lost control. The injured, Ranjan Rymbai (29) and Andreas Syngkli (18) were shifted to Civil Hospital, Shillong.

A Maruti 800 (ASOIJ – 0411) coming from Nongmynsong went off the road and down into the river after it was hit by another car from behind on December 17 at 9:14 PM. The driver, S. Marak (33) has been admitted to Civil Hospital, Shillong.
