SHILLONG: Following a clash between the Assembly Election date and the examination dates scheduled by the North Eastern Hills University (NEHU) on February 23, new dates for the under graduate examinations will be re-scheduled by NEHU and the same will be notified on Monday.
Informing this on Saturday, Controller of Examinations, NEHU L Cajee said they will be rescheduling the examination dates and will subsequently notify it on Monday. “The new dates will be publicized through the official website of NEHU and through the print and electronic media”, Cajee said. NEHU had slated some papers like BA science stream (I, II and III) and BA Mass Communication (Hons) for February 23. However, no specific dates have been slated for conducting the practical examinations for the under-graduate examinations except for BA science (theory) and BA Mass Communication. It may be mentioned that for some papers, this will be the second time, the dates were re-scheduled.
Citing a few, for BA Mass Communication, the first notification was February 22 and later revised to February 23.
The same will stand postponed until the new examination dates is made public on Monday.
