SHILLONG: Union Home Minister and senior Congress leader Sushil Kumar Shinde on Sunday silently campaigned for his party in Phubari.
The Union Home Minister was accompanied by the Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma and a host of Congress leaders.
Speaking a public rally, Shinde said “Congress is the only party which can take country in the right direction”.
While stating that the Congress party under the leadership of Dr Mukul Sangma has brought tremendous development in the state, he even praised Power Minister AT Mondal for taking various measures to streamline the power sector in the State.
Mondal is contesting from Phulbari.
