JAC to picket offices on May 7 and 8

 WILLIAMNAGAR: The JAC, Williamnagar, on Friday held a poster campaign protesting the construction of a dam on Daribok stream at Nokrek Biosphere Reserve by the PHE department for water supply to Tura.

The JAC had given an ultimatum to the government until Thursday to cease the construction of a dam on Daribok stream.

“We will be picketing offices on the May 7 and 8 followed by a Mass Public Rally and a sit in demonstration on May 10 as part of our agitation” informed JAC Publicity Secretary, Silseng G Momin.
