Youth organisation against exam schedule

 NONGSTOIN: The Western Youth Welfare Council (Nongstoin Circle) condemned the management authorities of the JNV Nongstoin for conducting the entrance exam of the school on Sunday.

The president of the organization along with its members visited the school on Sunday in an attempt to stop the exam. However the parents of the candidates requested them to allow the exam to take place to which they consented.

Later, the WYWC members met the Principal and asked him not to conduct any exams on Sunday. The Principal of the school consented to the demand.

Reginald Thongni Gen Secy of WYWC warned all schools, colleges and departments in West Khasi Hills to abstain from conducting any exams on Sunday. He further warned that if any institution did so, they would be dealt with sternly.
