Police appeals for security

Imphal: Police on Saturday appealed to the people to inform them if they found any suspicious or unclaimed objects anywhere in Imphal East district in Manipur.

Superintendent of Police (Imphal East) Kamei Angam Romanus said information should be given to the police immediately if anyone found radio, small trunk box, polythene bags containing toys either at the roadside, market complexes or other places.

The appeal followed frequent explosions of bombs, grenades or other explosive materials recently. Police also appealed to the people not to touch any suspicious objects in any place. (PTI)
