Food festival
Sein Ki Manbei, women’s wing of Niamtre, Sein Raij will organise a food festival-cum-jamboree on December 14 at Sein Raij Hall, Qualapaty from 11 am . The festival is being organised as a part of the fund-raising for the various social activities of SKM.
Golden jubilee celebrations
The concluding function of the Golden Jubilee celebrations of MeECL Secondary School, Umiam will be held on December 13 at 1 pm in the school premises.
Pre-Christmas celebration
The Junior Christian Endeavour Society, Police line and Shawei will organise a musical evening outreach in the police reserve premises from 5 pm on December 14 as part of the advance Christmas celebration of the society.
Christ School in collaboration with different Churches and religious faiths of Shillong will organise a pre-Christmas festival in an effort to promote peace and social harmony.
Raffle draw
Executive Committee of Dorbar Dong Lumbasuk ‘A’, under the aegis of Dorbar Shnong Lawjynriew Pyllun, will organize a raffle draw in aid of construction of the Community Hall of the area. The draw will be held on December 14. A food festival will also be organized on the occasion.

Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Meghalaya Zone will organize organizing a 3-day Yuva Kriti Handi Craft Exhibition at Bharat Scout & Guide Complex” behind Civil Hospital Shillong from December 13 to 15.
Cleaning drive
The Seng Samla Nongkhlaw under Nongkhlaw Syiemship would be holding its annual cleaning drive on Saturday from 9 am onwards. Mairang local MLA would formally inaugurate the annual cleaning drive.
Concert
The Indian Catholic Youth Movement, Shillong Archdiocese will organise a Christmas Concert at Cathedral Parish, Laitumkhrah on December 14 at 4:30 pm. The concert would be telecast live on Doordarshan Kendra Shillong.
