tained through an RTI application, has revealed that as many as nine persons have been temporarily appointed in the Office of the East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner.

The services of these causal employees appointed as enumerators or LDAs will be terminated once the qualified candidates are appointed.

The appointments were made between 2001 and 2013 by the East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner, CSWO chief Agnes Kharshiing said, referring to the reply obtained through RTI.

According to the reply, the status of all the vacant posts was informed in writing to the Secretary, District Selection Committee to recommend qualified candidates for appointment.

The causal employees who have been appointed include Kitboklang A Rapthap, Ricky Wilson Dkhar, Wallam Phar Lawriniang, Eldora Nongbri, N Kharwanlang, Lanakila Lakiang, Aiombha Kharbhuli, Jolency Grace Marbaniang and Khrawborlang Lyngdoh.
