KJP Synod annual church meeting concludes

JOWAI: The 12th annual Church meeting of the Khasi Jaintia Presbyterian Synod Mihngi which began on Thursday at the Balang Presbyterian Mynso in West Jaintia Hills under Shangpung Presbytery concluded on Sunday in which thousands of believers from across the State attended the services.
Besides thousands of believers, Member of Parliament, Vincent H Pala, Sutnga MLA, Hopeful Bamon, the Deputy Commissioner, West Jaintia Hills also attended the service on Sunday afternoon. The services on Sunday began with the Sacrament of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Rev. DSR Nongspung and Rev. T Mukhim were the main speakers in Sunday’s morning and afternoon services respectively.
Choir groups from Shangpung Presbyterian Church, Umpyrnai Presbyterian Church, Sutnga Presbyterian Church and Nongthymmai Presbyterian Church performed in the morning service while Mynso Presbyterian Church, Laban Presbyterian Church, Standing Choir, Shangpung Presbytery and Standing Choir KJP Synoh Mihngi sang in the afternoon service.
