Ahmedabad: A comic book on early life of Gujarat Chief Minister and BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi called ‘Bal Narendra’, has been launched here on Friday.
The book was conceptualized, designed and created by Blue Snail Animation.
‘Today, we see Narendra Modi as a figure of towering influence. His enigma, his personality and his selfless service towards India are a matter of inspiration for everyone across the globe. But little do people know that Narendra Modi’s childhood has played a very significant role in grooming him to be the leader that he is today,’ Jignesh Gandhi, Director, Blue Snail Animation, said today.
He said the book was launched to capture the essence of Modi right from his early years to give children and young readers a modern day role model to follow.
Published by Rannade Prakashan, Ahmedabad, the book has 17 stories inspired by the real life childhood incidents of Modi that speak of heroism, patriotism, compassion, intelligence, diligence and numerous virtues that ‘Bal Narendra’ demonstrated while he was growing up.
‘We are sure that the book will be just as much fun to read for our readers as it will be inspiring.
The book will be available at major bookstores across India as well as online ona website,’ he added.  These 17 real life stories in the book give the readers a glimpse of the formative years of Modi.
He said ‘Bal Narendra’ was born into a humble family in the historic town of Vadnagar in Gujarat. He grew up in an environment of great love and care, typical to an Indian family.
He said the principles and value system inculcated in little Narendra by his parents and elders in those early years played a major role in making the BJP’s PM candidate the man he is today. (UNI)
