Duping case: 1 held in Delhi

SHILLONG: Police Tuesday arrested one Anju Gurung from Delhi for allegedly duping a girl from Laban to tune of Rs 3 lakh. On May 21, the victim received an SMS from one Kelvin William of UK informing her that he would be sending a parcel for her and asked her to deposit Rs. 3 lakh The lady deposited the amount in different accounts, but till date she did not receive the parcel and a complaint in this regard was lodged at Laban Police Station. Acting on the complaint, Laban police made the arrest.
