Miner’s body unclaimed

JOWAI: The body of a coal labourer who died mysteriously in a labour camp at a place called ‘Iaw Passah’ under Sohkymphor village, is lying unclaimed in the morgue at Khliehriat CHC.

The A Rymbai, of the Ladrymbai Beat House, informed that they received information that one unidentified body was spotted by locals inside a labour camp.

It is learnt that the police could not assertain the name and address of the deceased, but based on the information provided by some villagers, the deceased was identified as Chembor Marbaniang aged between 25 to 30 and he was from Nongstoin.

Relatives of the deceased are requested to claim the body.
