SHILLONG: In a reminder of crackdown against businessmen who had donated money to HNLC in the past which resulted in crippling the financial backbone of the outfit, the Tura police have lodged FIR against business men who raise funds to donate to militants in Garo Hills. As per reports, Tura police lodged a suo-moto FIR at Tura police station that some businessmen of Tura in West Garo Hills are indulging in criminal conspiracy by raising funds from the general public for the terrorist organisations and other militant outfits of Garo Hills.
