Nagaland govt to donate Rs 10 lakh for J&K flood victims

Kohima: The Government of Nagaland has contributed Rs 10 lakh to the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) for flood relief in Jammu and Kashmir, said an official of the Home Department, Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the general secretary of Indian Red Cross Society Nagaland State Branch (IRCSN), Dr Kepelhusie Terhuja in an appeal, to all patrons, members, tribal hohos, village councils, NGOs and others to respond to the flood affected people in Jammu and Kashmir and come forward to donate generously for the victims. The Indian Red Cross Society also urged upon the people to offer special prayer for the affected flood victims. (PTI)
