SHILLONG: The High Court of Meghalaya has admitted a petition challenging the jurisdiction of KHADC on the issue of trading license in Municipal areas. The matter will be heard by the High Court after Puja vacation. According to the argument of the lawyer representing the petitioner from the Laitumkhrah Municipal market, the areas falling under Municipal areas will be accountable to Municipal Board and not to KHADC.
