SHILLONG: Shillong Press Club has lifted the Harendra Nath Baruah Football Championship title of the 6th North East Media Sports Festival defeating News Live by a solitary goal in the final at the Sports Authority of India ground here on Thursday.

Deka of Dainik Janambhumi sealed their places in the semifinals. All the semifinals will be played on round robin basis today. The Raishmodi Nunisa Trophy inter-media six-a-side cricket tournament will commence at Nehru Stadium today.
