Supply of sugar

The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Khasi Hills District, has informed that ISS Grade Sugar 30 under TPDS for November 2014 has been released and will be distributed through the respective Fair Price Shops. The scale of issue for APL, BPL and AAY card holders for urban and rural areas is 3 kg per card at the rate of Rs.13.50 per kg. Any non-supply or overcharging of rate and supply of inferior quality of sugar by the FPS dealers should be brought to the notice of the DC (Supply), East Khasi Hills District, immediately.
The Deputy Commissioner, East Jaintia Hills District, has informed that the price of 14.2 kg LPG cylinder has been fixed as follows: For areas within 15 km, the spot delivery rate has been fixed at Rs.425 per cylinder and for home delivery within 15 km the rate has been fixed at Rs.442. For areas beyond 15 km, the rate of the cylinder has been fixed at Rs. 457. The transport cost of Rs.17 and Rs.32 per cylinder will also apply to Non-subsidized LPG cylinder of 14.2 kg under DPTL Scheme.

Meeting

The executive committee of the Synjuk Ki Rangbah Shnong (Sor & Khap Sor) has decided to convene a general meeting at Jaiaw Shyiap Lum Pyllon Community Hall on January 31 at 1 pm to discuss the December 16 High Court of Meghalaya order on Rangbah Shnong.

Mawkhar Week

The closing ceremony of the Mawkhar Week 2015 will be held on Jan 30 at 5 pm at the Khasi National Durbar Hall. Home Minister Roshan Warjri will be the chief guest.
