Working days
The Governor of Meghalaya has declared March 21 and 28 as working days for all state government offices and all revenue and magisterial courts in Meghalaya due to the financial year ending on March 31.

Invitation
The College of Teacher Education (PGT) has invited all past students to the closing ceremony of the golden jubilee celebration at CTE, PGT, Shillong, on Wednesday.

Programme
The International Women’s week was observed by Meghalaya State Social Welfare Board in collaboration with the Ri-Bhoi Area Welfare Association at Diwon (Umden) Ri Bhoi District recently. Deputy Commissioner Pooja Pandey was the chief guest. More than 250 women representing different SHGs of Ri Bhoi attended the programme.
Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Shillong, in association with Metallica-Sargam Sports & Cultural Club, Shillong, will organise a day-long programme on Neighbourhood Youth Parliament on local problems at Shillong Secondary School from 10:30 am onwards on March 21. Around 60 Class X students from five neighbouring schools have been invited.

Truck seized
Nongstoin Police on Sunday night seized one truck which was transporting coal in violation of the NGT ban. The truck (ML-06 4265) driven by P. Wanniang was seized at Wahriat Bridge and a case has been registered against the owner.
