The AJYWO, while expressing concern over the deplorable condition of the bridge, informed that the government should take immediate action to repair the main bridge that links mainland India with Mizoram, Tripura and Barak Valley of Assam.
AJYWO activists recently inspected the bridge and parts of the National Highway from Tongseng to Sonapur and called for urgent repair of the highway by the PWD.
