SHILLONG: A driver was detained and fined Rs 5000 for using a modified silencer in his vehicle, producing a loud noise and disturbing the public.
Dinoy Daimari was detained by police at Laitumkhrah with his vehicle (ML 05D 3937). A non FIR case was registered against him at Laitumkhrah PS.
