Aafreen hopes to win Miss Supranational

Aafreen Rachel Vaz, who was crowned Femina Miss     India Supranational 2015, will compete     with models from 78 countries at the seventh edition of the global Miss Supranational 2015 contest in Poland next month. She hopes the crown remains in India after Asha Bhat won the pageant last year.
Aafreen will be seen competing for various sub-contest titles at the international pageant like Miss Bikini, Miss Elegance, Miss Top Model, Miss Internet, Miss Photogenic, Miss Smile, Miss Friendship and Best National Costume.
“I’m absolutely honoured to have this opportunity to represent India at an international pageant. I am very confident and hopeful that the crown will remain with our country after Asha Bhat brought it home last year. I am also thankful to the Miss India Organization for providing me with this great opportunity and experience,” Aafreen, who hails from Mangalore, said in a statement.
The grand finale of the event will be held on December 4.
Aafreen has got the opportunity to be trained and mentored by names like Ritu Kumar, Alesia Raut, Sabira Merchant, Sandesh Mayekar, Jamuna Pai, William Hanson, Kavita Kharayat, Tarannum Khan, Kromakay and Swarupraj Medara. Her finale gown will be designed by Gaviin Miguel. (IANS)
