SHILLONG: Two GNLA cadres including an area commander were arrested by police in East Garo Hills on Wednesday. According to police, the area commander Chekan Marak alias Bawan and another cadre Ronseng N Marak were arrested from a house at Dobu. Bawang was involved in several criminal cases including killing a GNLA cadre identified as Riknang Sangma alias Wanding.
