Authorities from BPST had earlier visited Meghalaya Assembly and held such programmes which were beneficial, he said.
Among others both the Lok Sabha MPs P. A. Sangma and Vincent H Pala met the visiting scribes and interacted with them. The journalists were part of a group of scribes from the North East accredited to the respective state Governments and Assemblies.
Mondal said that such programmes will bring out a sort of effective partnership between Parliament and the Media. This will also further consolidate parliamentary democracy in the states and the whole country.
