Youth rescued from militants

GUWAHATI:  In a joint operation with Assam police, Army on Wednesday rescued a youth identified as Jaker Housan who was kidnapped by NDFB(S) terrorists on December 20 from Bogribari in Dhubri district of Assam.
According to an Army source, based on a specific intelligence, a joint search operation was launched in Bhelakupa forest,on night of December 29 and subsequently the youth was rescued from a hideout. Three persons were also apprehended along with arms & ammunition. (Agencies)
