59 year old lady bags third prize in dance competition

SHILLONG: A 59 year old grandmother bagged third position in the Sorjah Dancing Star Season 5 at Nongnah,  a platform for mothers, which was held in association with All Meghalaya Dancing Association (AMDA) Central Body.
Sonalin Syiemlieh,  (30) emerged as the winner of the Sorjah Dancing Star -5, while the second position was bagged by the group Juk Thymmai which includes Welmeris Syiemlieh (38) and Tishalin  Rngaid (39).
The third position went to the group Shi iing performed by grandmother PhistidaThongni and her two daughters Sibil Thongni and Kaltinoris Thongni (28) and (30) respectively.
KitbokThabah, president of AMDA, while addressing as chief guest said that the residents must work hard to showcase their talent and urged the winners to be gracious.
Sorjah and AMDA also felicitated three children Phinisha Syiemlieh, Fedrick Iawphniaw and Lasiewbiang Shangdiar who collected maximum number of plastics in an effort to keep the environment clean.
