Hek gives Rs 1 lakh to St. Nanak

SHILLONG:   IT minister  and local MLA AL Hek on  Thursday   handed over a cheque of Rs one lakh to the Headmistress of St. Nanak Secondary School. Students of the school had a close shave on Tuesday as the roof and the wall of the school collapsed when the cyclonic storm hit the city on Tuesday afternoon.  The students of the lower classes came out of their respective class rooms five minutes before the strong wind hit the school.
