Centenary celebration

JOWAI: Chief Secretary, KS Kropha inaugurated the Centenary celebrations of the Yung-Walieh (Dorbar hall) of Panaliar Dorbar Shnong here on Saturday.
A prominent resident of Panaliar, Lakhon Shylla informed that during the year 1914-16 the Dorbar hall at Panaliar was a mere hut. It was only in 1991 that an RCC building was constructed in its place.
Addressing the gathering Kropha lauded the Panaliar Dorbar Shnong for celebrating  the centenary of the Yung-Walieh.
Kropha also felicitated one Desila Sumer (98), the eldest women of Panaliar, on the occasion.
