Theft cases
Dr. Shreepama Barooa of Wahheh, Mawpat lodged a complaint that on June 3 afternoon, unknown miscreants stole his bag containing one laptop computer and cash Rs. 6,000.
Pinja Chering Sherpa lodged a complaint that on June 2 at around 1.30 pm, unknown miscreants stole a car tape and a wallet containing driving licence and US $ 100 from his Maruti Alto car (ML-05E-0527 parked near City Hut Dhaba, Shillong.
On June 2 at around 7.30 pm, unknown miscreants stole one mobile phone valued around Rs. 7,500 from a mobile shop belonging to Sanjeev Baruah at Laitumkhrah.
Gilbert Malngiang lodged a complaint that on June 2 at around 8.30 pm, one Daniel stole a Lenovo tablet from his guest house at Upper Lachumiere.
Truck dashes against car, motorcycle
On June 3 at around 10 pm, one truck (AS-01-DD-9570) driven by Piano Warjri, dashed against one Maruti car (ML-05L-4789) driven by one Damankhraw and one motorcycle (ML-05F-6801) ridden by Arkushyap Lyngkhoi at Mawlai. As a result, the driver of the Maruti car and pillion rider of the motorcycle sustained injuries.
