FIR against abortion  
On July 7, a woman from Jamanggre village (WGH) lodged a complaint that she has conceived a child from one Musen Sangma who had promised to marry her. However, Sangma had asked her to abort the baby.
Houses burgled
On July 6 at around 11 am, miscreants broke into the house of one Doralin Wahlang at Lumsohphoh Nongthymmai, and stole one TV set, cell phone and household items.
A woman, Ngurang Rupali lodged a complaint that on July 5 evening, unknown miscreants broke into her house at Upper Lachumiere, Shillong and stole jewellery items valued around Rs. 10 lakh.
Theft at Jeep Stand
On July 6 at around 2.45 pm, miscreants stole one purse containing gold ornaments, EPIC and cash Rs. 10,000 from one Lucymon Nongkynrih at Jeep Stand, Shillong.
Theft
On July 1 early morning, unknown miscreants broke into the shop of Rajiv Kumar at Lad Kynrooh, Sohphlang, Jowai (WJH) and stole electronic items valued around Rs. 2,03,707.
Suspected thief apprehended
On July 1 at around 5 pm, residents of Lummawrie Laitumkhrah, Shillong apprehended one Raj Sunar (27 yrs) from the locality and recovered one gunny bag containing utensils suspected to be stolen. However, his accomplice managed to escape.
Assault
On July 4 at around 7.45 pm, three unidentified miscreants assaulted one Nehal Paul at Bishnupur, and robbed him of Rs. 10,000
Intimidation
One Johanan Nongrum lodged a complaint that on July 2, one Dolly Khonglah forcibly entered his house at Tamabil, Dawki (WJH), threatened the woman caretaker with dire consequences, forced her out and also damaged the shed. Further, two children of the caretaker were missing till date.
Vehicle recovered
With reference to the theft of one motorcycle (ML-05N-3179) belonging to one Basu Thapa from Riat Sohkhlur, 3rd Mile, Upper Shillong, on July  6 morning, Police detected the stolen motorcycle  at Mawdon-Shella Border Road (EKH) and the same was towed to Mawsynram PS for safe custody.
Shop vandalized  
One Minta Devi lodged a complaint that on July 4 at around 3 pm, her land lady along with one unidentified person went to her (complainant’s) hardware shop at 4th Furlong, Shillong and vandalized the shop in violation of a stay order from the Court of ADC Shillong.
Phone stolen
One Adhir Sen lodged a complaint that on June 26 at around 6 am, unknown miscreants stole one mobile phone from his residence at Bivar Road, Shillong.
