Illegal sale, consumption of liquor banned at Nawal Sangsanggre

TURA: The residents of Nawal Sangsanggre A’kingland in West Garo Hills have prohibited illegal sale and consumption of liquor in shops and tea stalls in the locality in the wake of rising number of drunken brawls. The decision to ban black marketing and consumption of liquor was taken in a recent meeting that was attended by Church leaders, the Nokma of Nawal Sangsanggre and former GHADC Chairman Cary Marak.
