Career guidance
A Career Guidance Programme for the Meghalaya Police Recruitment, 2016 under the Chief Minister’s Career Guidance and Counseling Scheme will be held on October 18 and 19 at U So So Tham Auditorium at 2pm. All aspirants for the various posts have been requested to attend the programme. A similar programme will be conducted at Sohra on October 20 at the Conference Room of the Office of the SDO (Civil), Sohra.
Electoral roll
The Returning Officer and Deputy Commissioner, District Council Election, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong informed that the Electoral Roll in Draft of 8- Nongkrem, 15-Laban and 22-Nongspung-Sohiong District Council Constituencies have been prepared in accordance with Rule 129 (3) of the Assam Meghalaya Autonomous District (Constitution of District Councils) Rule 1951 (Parts I, II & III), as amended by the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council.
Election
The central body of the FKJGP has announced that the central executive committee election for the year 2016-2019 will be held at Jaiaw Committee Hall at 11 am on October 29.
Past pupils’ meet
The Annual General Meeting of the Cherra Bosconian Union (CBU), an organisation of the Don Bosco Past Pupils of St. John Bosco Boys’ Higher Secondary School, Sohra will be held on October 16 at St.John Bosco Boys’ Higher Secondary School, Sohra. The past pupils of the school have been invited to attend the meet.
Teachers’ meet
The Jaintia Hills Lower Primary School Teachers’ Association, Khliehriat unit will hold a general meeting on October 14 at Fantin Hall, Khliehriat Higher Secondary School at 10 am. All LP school teachers have been requested attend the meet.
