Conrad discusses progress in devp schemes

RESUBELPARA: Tura MP Conrad Sangma met the heads of all line departments at the Circuit House here on Monday to take stock of the Central schemes.
Sangma, who is also the chairman of the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DDCMC), said the purpose of the visit was to check the progress of the Central schemes at the grassroots level in the district and also to “encourage officials to work for the uplift of the public”.
The DDCMC chairman also held a public hearing on Monday evening to discuss the various grievances of the public in the presence of district officials.
Among those who attended the meeting were ADCs L. Ch Marak and P.K Boro, local Member of the District Council Sukharam Sangma and Resubelpara C&RD Block Development Officer Leena Daring.
