Bodies recovered

SHILLONG: The body of one Sholin Marbaniang (27) of Mawhati village (Ri Bhoi) was recovered from a river at Mawrathud village on November 2.
The deceased reportedly went to Umiam river for fishing and was reported missing since then. Necessary formalities were observed and the matter is under investigation.
In another incident, the body of one mentally unstable person Rosario Khyriem (43) was recovered from Pyrshit River near Tynring village under Mawdiangdiang OP (EKH) on November 7. The deceased was reportedly missing since November 6.
Meanwhile, on November 2, the body of an unidentified male (about 50 years old) was found lying in the forest on CWE premises, MES Shillong. Relatives have been urged to identify the body which is currently kept at the Civil Hodpital morgue.
