UDP lauds Centre’s maternity leave decision

SHILLONG: The UDP has welcomed the move of the Centre to pass a law that allows female employees to avail 26 weeks of maternity leave.
However, UDP leader P Kharpyngrope said that the news report which revealed that over the 323 POCSO cases are pending in Meghalaya was a cause of concern and needed to be addressed at the earliest
