SHILLONG: A two-day legal awareness programme was organised by the Meghalaya State Commission for Women and supported by the National Commission for Women on March 23-24 at Rangblang Sohsyniang in South West Khasi Hills. Theilin Phanbuh, Chairperson, Meghalaya State Commission for Women was the chief guest.
The programme was attended by Sordars and people from neighbouring areas.
Get-together
SHILLONG: A get-together of parents and special educators of children with Autism was held at Dwar Jingkyrmen on Friday.
The programme was organised in collaboration with Bethany Society to share the experience of the parents with a view to forming a parents’ body.
