Teen held for Rs 12 lakh theft

JOWAI: A 14-year-old boy was arrested for stealing Rs 12 lakh from a house at Khanduli in West Jaintia Hills.
The boy has been sent to a juvenile home in Shillong.
Emidaplin Rymbai, who had lodged a complaint against the boy, said he stole the money on March 15. “Since my husband was not available in the village, she delayed to lodge a police complaint,” Rymbai said.
