Rapist jailed for three years

JOWAI: The Court of the District and Sessions Judge in West Jaintia Hills has sentenced a man to three years imprisonment for raping a minor in 2015.
The accused Kitish Patro (53), a resident of Nongkhen village under Dawki Police Station had raped the minor girl, nine-year-old then, on May 19, 2015.
A case was registered against him under the POCSO Act.
