MLCU conducts free health camp

Shillong: Martin Luther Christian University through its Department of Allied Health Sciences conducted a free Health Camp in Puriang, Mawryngkneng Block, East Khasi Hills on May 27.
Tests were also conducted by the students from MSc, BSc, and Diploma courses, from the Department of AHS. The test included Blood Test, BMI, Vital Signs, Diet and Nutrition counseling and also Eye screening was done by students from Bansara Eye Care Centre. An approximate of 660 residents, both young and old, came to avail the facilities of the health camp. The camp was hosted by the Presbyterian Church Puriang, while the prescribed medicines were sponsored by the NSS, MLCU Unit and given to the villagers free of cost.
