1 held for murder in SWGH

SHILLONG: Residents of a village in South West Garo Hills caught a 22-year-old person for allegedly clubbing a villager to death.
Police said around 7.30 pm on Monday, Nenjing D Sangma (48) of Dinangpara village in Kalaichar was hacked to death while he was returning home. They said the miscreants were from the same village.
Locals caught Bablu A. Sangma of Dinangpara and handed him over to Kalaichar police.
The body of Nenjing has been sent to Ampati CHC for postmortem.
