Landslide in Ri Bhoi blocks NH-6

NONGPOH: There were reports of fresh landslide at Pahamrynnai village near NH-6 on Sunday following incessant rain. No one was injured.
The landslip occurred around 5 am when the hillock at Pahamrynnai collapsed and one way of the highway was blocked by debris.
The local office of the National Highway Authority of India deployed workers and a JCB vehicle to clear the debris and with the help of Ri Bhoi police, traffic congestion was cleared in a short span of time.
