Chennai, July 14 (UNI) The Yellow brigade is back.
The two year imposed on IPL T-20 cricket Franchisee Chennai Super Kings (CSK), one of the most dominating teams and most popular among fans, following charges of spot fixing, ended yesterday.
CSK in a tweet today said ”Super Morning, Lions! The wait is finally over. Time to rise and shine!”
”#CSKReturns #whistlepodu”, the tweet said.
The CSK fans were all over the social media and twitter and were celebrating their team’s come back.
The franchisee is owned by India Cements.
Its Chairman N Srinivasan recently said in an event that the CSK would be back in the 2018 IPL and also said MS Dhoni would again become captain.
Since the inception of the IPL, CSK under Dhoni’s leadership, was a big hit and the team produced some scintillating and unforgettable performances.
CSK had twice won the cash rich IPL.
Despite the ban which saw the team out of the 2016 and 2017 editions of the IPL, the CSK think tank was pretty active on social media and continued to receive massive support from their fans all across the country. UNI
