Prez on 2-day visit to Andhra Pradesh from tomorrow

New Delhi:  President Ram Nath Kovind will embark on a two-day visit to Andhra Pradesh tomorrow, during which he will pay obeisance at the famous shrine in Tirumala. On September 1, the president will inaugurate a building of the Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS) – Sri Padmavathi Medical College for Women. On the same day, he will also attend a civic reception and public meeting at Sri Venkateswara Arts College Ground, Tirupati, according to a press release issued by the Rashtrapati Bhavan today. On September 2, he will have visit Sri Varaha Swamy temple, Tirumala, before returning to Delhi, it said. This will be Kovind’s second visit to a state after assuming office. He had visited Leh on August 21. (PTI)
