The Final match of the NEHU Inter College Football (Men) Tournament was played between Shillong College versus St. Anthony’s College on 20th September 2017. The first goal of the final match is scored by Mr. Tremiki Passah from Shillong College at 32 minutes. Again at 75 minutes Mr. Samuel L. Kynshi of Shillong College scored 2nd goal, whereas a lone goal scored by Mr. Khang Miki Pale of St. Anthony’s College at 90+1 minutes
The tournament ended with a closing ceremony, where Shri Larsing Ming Sawyan, Chairman, Football Development Committee, AIFF, Vice President, AIFF and President, Meghalaya Football Association was graced the occasion as Chief Guest and gave away the prizes to the winners. Principal, Shillong College Dr. Ramsiej, Secretary, Sports Board Dr. S. Umdor, Asst. Director (Sports) Shri N. Das were present among others.
