Gandhi Jayanti observed in the State

A cleaning drive was organized from Rongsak point to Rongsak Bazar, East Garo Hills through Village Health Sanitation Nutrition Committee in collaboration with Rongsak Baptist Church on Monday.
More than 400 volunteers participated in the programme. A speech was delivered by pastor Binbin M sangma and secretary, VHSNC for residents of the people regarding the environmental problems and the need to protect them from pollution and the desire to have a progressive of the village

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Swachhata Hi Seva, the cleanliness fortnightly marking the third anniversary of clean India mission was observed by the 120 Bn CRPF in all Garo Hills districts from September 15 to October 2. On Monday as part of observance of Gandhi Jayanti, CRPF personnel of 120 Bn CRPF based in Tura paid befitting tribute to Bapu’s vision of clean India by participating in Cleanliness campaign in and around the Dikki Bandi stadium premises in Tura.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

SOS Children’s Village Shillong observed Swatch Bharat Abhiyan on Monday in its campus at Umiam.
A cleaning drive was organized in an around the campus and a drawing competition was also organized on the occasion.

Swachhta Hi Sewa programme was organized at NEEPCO, Corporate Office in city on Monday. A cleaning drive campaign was organized in and around the Corporate Office premises of NEEPCO wherein officers and staff have participated.
The Swachhta Pledge was also undertaken by the officers and staffs of NEEPCO, Corporate Office which was administered by Anil Kumar, Executive Director (HR).
