Man assaults wife
On Friday around 1.20 am, Mackson Marbaniang assaulted his wife in their residence at Mawlai Nongkwar. The victim was admitted in Civil Hospital.
FIR against two for threatening
Christabel Wanniang lodged a complaint that on Friday at 1 am, Mun Mun Nongsiej was creating nuisance allegedly under the influence of alcohol, assaulted his wife and other women at Umroi Umdoh Byrthih village in Ri Bhoi, and threatened them with dire consequences.
In another incident, Wanrika Lyngdoh lodged a complaint that on October 19 and October 25, Victoria Kharkongor threatened Lyngdoh and her children over phone with dire consequences.
Paddy reaper machine stolen
Chui Bareh of the Office of Assistant Agriculture Engineer (Mechanical), West Jaintia Hills, lodged a complaint that on October 25 around 5 pm, miscreants stole one paddy reaper machine valued around Rs. 1,10,000 from the workshop of the office at Ladthalaboh.
Computer parts, CCTV stolen
Major Sahel Kumar of Assam Regimental Centre, Happy Valley, lodged a complaint that on October 23 around 9 am, the complainant found that two monitors, one CPU, two UPS and one CCTV Camera total valued around Rs. 96,550 was missing from Reflex Shooting Range, ARC.
Intruder
R S Wanniang, Joint Secretary i/c Land, KHADC lodged a complaint that some persons have encroached and felled trees from the KHADC land at Jingkieng Kalong, Umiam Old Road.
Robbed
Md. Jamaluddin lodged a complaint that on October 24 at around 3.30 pm two occupants of a local taxi robbed him of Rs 8,500 at Mukhla By-pass, West Jaintia Hills.
On October 24 around 7.30 pm, four masked miscreants waylaid a Tata Pick-up driven by Tibitson K Sangma at Hurupukni jungle and took away Rs 3000.
